DataCaster Refund and Returns Policy

At DZM Solutions, we want our customers to purchase DataCaster with confidence. We offer a 30-day evaluation period for first-time customers and a 12-month limited hardware warranty on all DataCaster units.
All Sales Are Final
All DataCaster sales are final, except for the first unit purchased by a customer, which is eligible for return within 30 days of delivery.
Customers who wish to evaluate DataCaster before purchasing multiple units are encouraged to purchase a single unit initially.
Once a customer purchases additional units, those units are not eligible for return or refund, except as required by applicable law or provided under our limited hardware warranty.
30-Day First-Unit Return Policy
The first DataCaster unit purchased by a customer is eligible for return within 30 calendar days of delivery.
To qualify for a return:
- The unit must be the customer’s first DataCaster unit purchased from DZM Solutions.
- The return request must be submitted within 30 calendar days of delivery.
- The unit must be in good working condition, free from physical damage, and include all originally supplied accessories.
- Normal use of the product during the evaluation period is permitted.
- The customer must obtain return authorization from DZM Solutions before shipping the unit back.
Upon receipt and inspection of an approved return, DZM Solutions will refund the original product purchase price to the original payment method.
Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. The customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
The 30-day return privilege applies to one unit per customer, including purchases made under the same company or organization. If multiple units are purchased in the initial order, only one unit is eligible for return.
Additional Purchases
All additional DataCaster purchases are final sales.
Additional units are not eligible for return or refund based on changes in project requirements, purchasing decisions, compatibility concerns, or other circumstances unrelated to a covered warranty claim.
The 30-day return privilege does not reset with subsequent purchases.
12-Month Limited Hardware Warranty
Every DataCaster unit includes a 12-month limited hardware warranty, regardless of whether it is the customer’s first unit or an additional purchase.
The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for 12 months from the original purchase date.
For an eligible warranty claim, DZM Solutions may, at its discretion:
- Repair the defective product.
- Replace it with a new or refurbished unit of the same or comparable model.
- Refund the original product purchase price.
The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, improper installation, accidents, unauthorized modifications, electrical problems, or operation outside published specifications.
Warranty claims are handled separately from the 30-day first-unit return policy. A customer does not lose warranty protection simply because the 30-day return period has expired or because the purchase was a final sale.

How to Request a Return or Warranty Service
To request a first-unit return or initiate a warranty claim, please contact DZM Solutions through our Contact page.
Please include your order number, purchase date, contact information, and a brief description of your request.
Return authorization must be obtained before sending any product back. Unauthorized returns may be refused.
Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method after the returned unit has been received and inspected.
The time required for the refund to appear in the customer’s account may vary depending on the payment provider or financial institution.
This policy is subject to applicable consumer protection laws and does not limit any rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.
